For those choosing to take advantage of the Bishop’s dispensation and eat meat on St. Patrick’s Day, the dispensations demands that another act of penitence be done instead. Two such acts could be to do one of the following: Attend 9am Mass at St. Mary/St. Charles; Attend Stations of the Cross at 6pm at St. Mary/St. Charles; spend an hour of prayer in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (within the tabernacle) at St. Mary/St. Charles Church anytime after Mass until Stations begin at 6, maybe before eating that Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner!
