‘Church” is all about relationship. Our relationship with God, but also with one another. We have all been through much this week and some are still going through it, but think of what we do have and how things for you could have been worse. This weekend, maybe more than most, we should attend the Holy Eucharist at Mass to let God know how thankful we are and to check on each other and see what else can be done. Don’t let the devil convince you that because you might not have power to not attend Mass this weekend. If you have been “out and about” at all, then you probably don’t have any reason not to come for Mass.
Because some folks are still without power or companionship, refreshments will be served after the 9am Mass at St. Mary/St. Charles on Sunday. There are some who may not have had any contact with anyone all week, or want a cup of coffee and a snack or wish their child to have a glass of milk, so stay for fellowship after the 4:30 Mass and 9am Mass at SMSC.
