Run down of events and Masses for this weekend: Saturday-Bishop Baraga On-line Auction is taking place now throughout the day on their Facebook page. 4pm Mass at Sacred Heart will take place as well as the 5:30 Mass at St. Clement Pellston. You may want to consider attending Mass at one of these times today and not worry about tomorrow.
Because the priests live in Cheboygan, the Sunday 9am Mass will take place because it will be on the radio and parish Facebook and YouTube, however Corporate Communion with Coffee and Donuts is canceled. Keep in mind that “listening or watching” Mass does not fulfill your obligation unless you truly are housebound because of the weather, meaning you do not go anywhere else either because of the weather. (See note above about going on Saturday instead.) Sunday Faith Formation is canceled as well as the 10:30 Mass at St. Anthony in Mackinaw City. Please use common sense in making decisions about going out on Sunday if the storm does develop as predicted. No decision has been made about picking up items at the school after the auction. Bid winners will be notified as to how to collect their items. The Fish Dinner and In-Person auction will be held next Friday, March 20 at the school.
