Today is All Saints Day. There will be a very special Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Lafayette at 5pm. It will probably be light when you arrive, but as we leave we will be able to experience the Light of Christ shining brightly with over 300 candles placed amongst the graves.
The area for Mass is well lit, but bring a chair if you wish. There will be “patio heaters” placed around, but still dress appropriately.
You can park on any of the roads within the cemetery and if you park on the street, make sure you are pulled far enough off the road to be safely walking to and from Mass.
This cemetary Mass will be held at Sacred Heart next year and at St. Francis the following year and then rotated after that. Let us come pray for the dead!
