Exclusive Film Screening: “Triumph of the Heart”
Our Cheboygan, Pellston, Riggsville and Mackinaw City Catholic faith community is thrilled to host a special screening of Triumph of the Heart – the moving true story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Franciscan priest who offered his life in exchange for another prisoner at Auschwitz during World War II.
When: Friday, December 19th, at 4:00 pm
Where: Courtyard Cinema, Mackinaw City, 248 S. Huron Ave. in the Mackinaw Crossings

Cheboygan County Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Thursday, November 27, 12 pm -1 pm, K of C Hall, 9840 Straits Hwy, Cheboygan
Salvation Army is again offering a traditional Thanksgiving meal this year for free! We are so grateful to them and happy to support this community event hosted at our local Knights of Columbus Hall.
Meals are served ready for take out, and you can also dine in the hall.

Mass of Thanksgiving
Tuesday, November 25, our Faith Community Thanksgiving Mass will be
at 6 pm at St. Mary/St. Charles.
A collection of non-perishable food and hygiene products will be taken up at this Mass. No Confessions before Mass. (This is the only weekday Mass this week. Regular weekend Mass schedules continue.)
This week’s schedule, Nov. 15 – 21
Weekend Masses as usual:
Sat. at 4 pm at Sacred Heart of Riggsville,
Sat. at 5:30 pm at St. Clement of Pellston,
Sun. at 9 am at St. Mary/St. Charles of Cheboygan (Sorry – no coffee & donuts, as the Knights are hunting – good luck to them).
Two weekday Masses this week: Wednesday at 9 am at SMSC, and Friday at 8:15 am at Bishop Baraga (no Tuesday confession nor Mass on Nov. 18).
Weekday Masses Update:
October 20 – 24, there are no weekday Masses (due to Priests’ Convocation);
The following week, October 27 forward, weekday Masses will all be held at Bishop Baraga Catholic School for the time being. (Tuesday nights, confession at 5:30 pm, followed by Mass at 6 pm; Wednesday mornings at 9 am; Friday mornings at 8:15 am.)
