CPR Parishes Festival ~ August 24

The Parish Festival will be Sunday afternoon, August 24, at Sacred Heart of Riggsville; scroll down to see the flyer.

Join us for the * FAMOUS CHICKEN & BEEF DINNER *
Serving eat-in & take-out from 12 NOON – 3:00 P.M. Adults $20, Children ages 6-12 $5,  and age 5 & under are free

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Bingo, Kids Games, Face Painting, Country Store, Ice Cream Stand

50/50 Raffle every half hour

Basket Raffles at 4:00 P.M.

Grand Raffle at 4:30 P.M.

Prizes include $1000 for 1st prize and $500 for 2nd, 3rd & 4th prizes

Cash Raffle tickets are available at weekend Masses or in the office ($20 each).  Our Annual Parish Fundraiser culminates with the dinner this Sunday afternoon, August 24, at Sacred Heart of Riggsville.  Make sure to purchase your tickets soon for chances to win $500 to $1000, and join us for a great meal and fellowship and summer fun at Sacred Heart Sunday afternoon, 8/24!

Farm Mass in Cheboygan, Saturday, Aug. 2

You and your loved ones are invited to join us for the Diocese of Gaylord Farm Mass!

Date: Saturday, August 2, 2025

Location: Tromble Equestrian Center at Lee Grand Ranch, 1313 Hwy M-33, Cheboygan

Time: 11 am – 1 pm (Parking opens at 10:30 AM)

Come together with our farming community for a special Mass celebrated by Bishop Walsh, followed by a delicious lunch.

Olive Wood from the HOLY LAND, here July 5 & 6

Representatives from Bethlehem Christian Families / The Shepherd and the Lost Sheep will be with us on July 5 & 6 after all three Masses, to ask for your help and blessing for the native people of the Holy Land in Bethlehem. These families, sixty years ago, made up 18% of the population. Due to recent events in the Middle East, it has caused these families to face devastating economical strain, and caused the population to decrease to less than 1% in the Holy Land. These families have relied on the income from their religious hand-carved olive wood artifacts from tourists, so they have come to the USA to support these families by bringing their artifacts here to sell. All proceeds from sales will be sent back to the families of the Holy Land so that they may be able to keep their homes and provide for their families. The last few years were very tough for the Christian families, and this is the only source of income.  You can also find them online at https://theshepherdandthelostsheep.net
