*Wednesday, September 10th:
Opening Inquiry for OCIA- 5:30pm at Bishop Baraga Catholic School (for those seeking to become Catholic or to complete their Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and First Holy Communion).
*Sunday, September 21st is Catechetical Sunday where all Catechists (teachers of the faith) will be commissioned at the 9am Mass at St. Mary/St. Charles. Please come and support our Catechists.
*Sunday, September 28th: First Day of Family Faith Formation and Youth Ministry, 10:30 a.m. to noon at Bishop Baraga Catholic School with a parent meeting (if you haven’t registered your child yet, please do so here on our website, www.cprparishes.org and click on the Sacraments and Faith Formation tab.
Join us to watch “The Chosen”
The Chosen series will be shown on Wednesdays (starting Sept. 10) at 2:00 p.m. at The Brook in the theater room starting with the first season. Then at 3:30 p.m. with the newest seasons that have just been released. Come and learn along with us about Jesus’ exciting ministry and grow your relationship with Him.
Living the Liturgy group
Living the Liturgy group will be meeting on Tuesdays now, beginning Sept. 9, at 2:30 p.m. at The Brook. Come and learn more about the upcoming weekend readings with us!
This weekend, Sept. 7…
Sunday morning after the 9 a.m. Mass at St. Mary/St. Charles there will be a presentation in the church basement to learn more about the exciting Canonizations happening this day. We will have 2 more Saints: Blessed Carlo Acutis and Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati! Join us in celebrating these modern-day Saints.
First Friday Devotion, Sept. 5
This Friday, we get back to Friday morning Masses at Bishop Baraga Catholic School at 8:15 am.
This will be followed by First Friday Devotions, which include
the following at St. Mary/St. Charles: Adoration with Exposition until 6 pm,
Rosary at 12 noon,
Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 pm,
Confession at 5:30 pm,
& Benediction at 6 pm; please join us.
CPR Parishes Festival ~ August 24
The Parish Festival will be Sunday afternoon, August 24, at Sacred Heart of Riggsville; scroll down to see the flyer.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary
We will honor Mother Mary with a Vigil Mass of The Assumption at 6 pm on Thursday, August 14, at St. Mary/St. Charles; on Friday, August 15, we will hold Mass at 9 am at Sacred Heart, and again at 6 pm at Assumption of Mary in Burt Lake.
Assumption of Mary Catholic Church Summer Masses at Burt Lake
Join us for Mass at Assumption of Mary on Friday and Saturday, August 15 & 16 at 6 pm. Friday’s Mass is The Assumption of The Blessed Virgin Mary; Saturday is regular Mass.
Please be aware the church is NOT climate-controlled and has port-a-john facilities.
